Day 1: Pick-up and Transfer to Murchison Falls via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from Kampala or Entebbe. Journey north through Uganda’s scenic countryside toward Murchison Falls National Park. enroute, visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided walking safari to see endangered white rhinos up close in their natural habitat. After this thrilling experience, continue to Murchison Falls, arriving in the late afternoon. Check into your lodge and relax as you prepare for the days ahead. If time allows, enjoy a sunset view over the Nile River. Dinner and overnight at your lodge inside or near the park.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise
Start your day with an early morning game drive across Murchison’s savannah plains in search of elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and various antelope species. The drive takes you through the northern section of the park, known for its abundant wildlife and birdlife. After lunch, embark on a scenic boat cruise along the Nile River to the base of Murchison Falls. Witness hippos, crocodiles, and numerous water birds, and marvel at the dramatic power of the falls. Capture breathtaking photos before returning to your lodge for dinner and a restful evening surrounded by nature.

Day 3: Top of the Falls Visit and Transfer to Kibale National Park
After breakfast, drive to the top of Murchison Falls where the Nile squeezes through a 7-meter gorge, creating a thunderous roar and misty spray—a truly awe-inspiring sight. Continue your journey southwest toward Kibale National Park, known for its rich primate diversity. Enjoy scenic views of tea plantations and traditional villages along the way. Arrive in the late afternoon and check into your lodge. If time permits, engage in an optional evening community walk to learn about local culture and interact with the Batooro people. Dinner and overnight stay at a lodge near Kibale Forest.

Day 4: Nature Walk in Kibale and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
    After an early breakfast, begin your day with a guided nature walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, located near Kibale Forest. This walk offers chances to spot primates like colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, and a variety of bird species including the great blue turaco. The sanctuary is also rich in botanical diversity and supports local eco-tourism. After lunch, depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, descending through the Albertine Rift Valley. The drive offers panoramic views of crater lakes and the Rwenzori Mountains. Arrive in the evening and settle into your lodge. Enjoy dinner while listening to the sounds of the wild.

Day 5: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel
Start the day with an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains, an area known for large lion prides and Uganda kobs. Look out for elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, and leopards as you explore the open savannah. After a late breakfast or early lunch, head for a relaxing boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway connecting Lake Edward and Lake George. This cruise offers incredible views of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and numerous water birds like African fish eagles and pelicans. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kyambura Gorge and Return to Kampala
After an early breakfast, transfer to Kyambura Gorge for chimpanzee tracking. This lush, forested ravine is often referred to as the “Valley of Apes.” Accompanied by a guide, trek through the gorge in search of a habituated chimp family. Along the way, spot various primates, birds, and unique plant species. After an unforgettable encounter with the chimps, begin your drive back to Kampala or Entebbe, with a stop for lunch enroute. Reflect on your incredible safari experiences as you journey through Uganda’s heartland. Arrive in the evening, marking the end of your 6-day wildlife adventure.
