Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1: Visit Ndaba Waterfall and Boat Cruise on Lake Kivu
You will be picked up from your hotel and begin the journey to Karongi in Western Rwanda. En route, visit the captivating Ndaba Rock and Waterfall, known for its mythical stories and scenic beauty, then you will head for lunch at your hotel. After embark on a boat cruise on Lake Kivu. Explore the picturesque islands of Napoleon Island (with a short hike and bat sightings), Monkey Island (home to colobus monkeys), and Amahoro (Peace Island). You’ll also witness the unique sight of swimming cows during the cruisethen head back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Gisenyi and Boat Cruise on Lake Kivu
You will begin your day with a refreshing jog and breakfast before heading to Rubavu (Gisenyi) for a lakeside lunch featuring fresh Kivu Lake fish. In the afternoon, take a scenic boat cruise on Lake Kivu, visiting the Nyamyumba Hot Springs. End the day with a classic sunset boat trip, accompanied by music, drinks, and stunning views of the rift valley and volcanoes in the Democratic Republic of Congo. For an authentic experience, observe the traditional night fishing canoes setting out on the lake. Depending on the day, enjoy Gisenyi’s vibrant nightlife.

Day 3: Gisenyi City Tour and Transfer to Twin Lakes

Afterwards, travel to the Twin Lakes (Burera and Ruhondo), where you’ll check in at My Hill Eco Lodge for lunch. In the late afternoon, embark on a serene boat cruise on Lake Ruhondo, exploring its tranquil islands.
