Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Lake Mburo National Park

After breakfast, our driver-guide will pick you from your location in Kampala/Entebbe. Drive through the beautiful countryside of central Uganda with a stop at the Equator for photos and souvenirs. Continue to Lake Mburo National Park, arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a short game drive to spot zebras, impalas, warthogs, and elands before heading to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive & Boat Safari

Start the day with an early morning game drive in the park, catching sight of leopards, buffalo, giraffes, and antelopes while enjoying the sunrise. Return for a late breakfast. In the afternoon, take a relaxing boat ride on Lake Mburo to spot hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species like the African Fish Eagle then return to your lodge for relaxation and  overnight stay.

Day 3: Walking Safari & Cultural Experience

Wake up for a guided walking safari—Lake Mburo is one of the few parks in Uganda where walking with wildlife is allowed. Spot zebras and giraffes at close range. Return to the lodge for lunch, then visit the nearby Banyankole community to learn about traditional cattle-keeping, milk processing, and cultural dances then embark to your lodge for your overnight stay.

Day 4: Morning Birding & Return to Kampala

After an early breakfast, enjoy a short bird-watching session with a guide—Lake Mburo hosts over 350 bird species, including the rare African Finfoot. Later, check out and drive back to Kampala/Entebbe, arriving in the late afternoon.
