Description

This 3-day safari, you will explore Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda’s closest savannah park to Kampala and Entebbe. This trip offers a relaxed yet immersive wildlife experience in a scenic, acacia-rich landscape.

Day 1: Travel to Lake Mburo & Evening Game Drive

Depart from Kampala or Entebbe in the morning and drive through scenic countryside toward Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda’s smallest savannah park. Arrive around midday, check in to your lodge, and enjoy lunch with views of the surrounding landscape. In the late afternoon, embark on a game drive through the acacia-dotted Savannah. Spot zebras, impalas, elands, warthogs, and giraffes. Lake Mburo is one of the few parks in Uganda with no elephants, making it ideal for walking and cycling safaris too. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight, with possible bush sounds echoing into the night.
