Arrive at Entebbe International Airport and meet your safari guide. You’ll be transferred to your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala for check-in. After breakfast, drive north to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where wild rhinos roam freely. Upon arrival, join rangers on a guided rhino tracking walk across the Savannah, offering a rare chance to observe rhinos on foot. You’ll also spot birds and possibly other wildlife. After lunch at the sanctuary, check into a nearby lodge where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. This area is rich in bird life and offers a perfect introduction to Uganda’s wilderness. End the day with a hearty dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
