Pick up from Nairobi hotel at 0730 hrs and Transfer to Wilson Airport where you will catch your morning flight to the Amboseli National reserve at the foot of snow-capped Mt. After breakfast a morning game drive to this park where Mount Kilimanjaro background offers good photographic scenery coupled with animals on the ground, The Big Five and the prolific bird life in this African wilderness park. After a early breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip to board your flight departing Amboseli at 0815hrs, arriving at Wilson airport at 0850hrs. Connect with your flight to Masai Mara departing at 1030hrs arriving at Keekorok Airstrip at 1110hrs. On arrival you will be picked up and transferred to the Lodge with a game drive enroute.
In the evening enjoy a game drive. Masai Mara game reserve is the northern part of the Serengeti, one of Kenya's most favored game-viewing areas. The reserve covers 700 square miles of magnificent wilderness. It is the Africa of the imagination; endless reaches of acacia-dotted grasslands studded with hazy hills. The Masai Mara Game Reserve is arguably Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary. It is the most famous and most visited game reserve in Kenya. The film ‘Out of Africa’ was made to a great extent in this reserve. Virtually every type of wildlife can be seen at the Mara.
A spectacle worth seeing is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle from Serengeti plains across the Tanzania border and the Mara River to reach Maasai Mara grazing fields from late June.
The dramatic crossing of the river and the preying on the migrants by predators can be viewed from early July to October. The reserve abounds with birdlife since the dose to about 452 species has been recorded. Hot air balloon safaris are readily available in this park.
