4 Day Safari To The True African Wilderness Kidepo Valley National Park
The 4-day safari takes you through the breathtaking landscapes of Kidepo Valley National Park also known as the true African wilderness in Northern Uganda, combining wildlife encounters with cultural experiences.The adventure begins with a scenic transfer via Gulu, followed by game drives to spot lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of birds. Activities include morning and afternoon game drives, nature walks, and cultural experiences with local communities, providing insights into traditional lifestyles and heritage.
Early in the morning, you will be picked up from Kampala/Entebbe by our safari guide to begin your 4days safari to northern Uganda where Kidepo Valley National Park lies.On your way, you will stop for lunch at a local restaurant to enjoy local Ugandan dishes and a chance to stretch and relax. After you will continue your journey passing through rural landscapes, rolling savannah plains, small villages, and scenic rivers, providing an insight into everyday life in northern Uganda. On arrival, you will check in the lodge, freshen up and unwind. You will then have a short orientation with your guide about the park and upcoming activities as you prepare for dinner and overnight stay.

After an early morning breakfast, you will embark on a morning game drive in Kidepo Valley National Park accompanied by your professional guide where you will explore the park’s diverse habitats and spot wildlife such as lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and buffaloes where you will have a chance of excellent photo opportunities while learning about animal behavior, conservation efforts, and the unique ecosystem of northern Uganda. After you will return to the lodge for lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon, you will participate in a cultural experience, visiting a local community to learn about their traditions, crafts, and daily life. Engage with the locals through music, dance, or hands-on activities, gaining a deeper understanding of the region’s rich heritage. Then return to the Lodge for dinner, relaxation, and overnight stay, reflecting on the day’s exciting wildlife encounters and cultural immersion.

Then continue to Kampala / Entebbe concluding your 4-day Kidepo Valley adventure.
