3 Day Ultimate Gorilla Habituation Experience In Uganda
This 3 day ultimate gorilla habituation safari takes you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park which is the most World’s remarkable park for endangered species with over 459 mountain gorillas and this gives you 99% assurance of seeing the gorillas. it was gazetted as a national park in 1991 and declared a UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site in 1994 located in South Western Uganda with a total of fifteen gorilla families. On this trip will you spend extended time over 4 hours with gorilla families undergoing the habituation process, offering you a more in-depth wildlife experience.
You will be picked up early by our professional company driver guide from Kampala or Entebbe and embark on your journey ton southwestern Uganda’s which is going to give you the best experience you have ever encountered. You will have a stopover at the Equator in Kayabwe after continue to Mbarara for Lunch. On arrival you will check in the lodge, relax, and prepare for the next day’s adventure that will be full of wonders.

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing which will be done by a professional game ranger before beginning ultimate Gorilla Habituation Experience You will Spend up to four hours in the forest tracking and observing a semi-habituated gorilla families guided by expert trackers and researchers. After you will then head back to the lodge for lunch and relaxation as you prepare an afternoon, visit to the local Batwa community for a cultural experience showcasing their forest traditions, hunting skills, and dances.

Have a relaxed morning breakfast and then embark on your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe. Along the way, you will stop for lunch at a local restaurant then continue to Kampala or Entebbe where you are expected to arrive in the evening, marking the end of a memorable gorilla and cultural adventure in Uganda.

- Gorilla Habituation Permit: includes park fees and guide service; limited to only two gorilla families in Rushaga and maximum 4 visitors per day
- Booking: Permits are extremely limited—book at least 6 months in advance, especially during peak seasons (e.g. July–August, December–March)
- Fitness Level: The trek may take 2–4 hours through steep forest terrain, so moderate fitness is required; habituation involves more time than regular trekking

- Safety: Bwindi is a highly protected area with ranger escort during treks, and visitor safety is taken seriously
