Day 1: Transfer to lake Mburo National Park and game drive

Depart from Entebbe or Kampala in the morning and drive southwest through Uganda’s countryside, passing banana plantations, small towns, and rolling hills. Arrive at Lake Mburo National Park in time for lunch at the lodge. After a short rest, head out for an afternoon game drive in the park’s acacia woodlands and open savannah. Expect to see zebras, impalas, buffaloes, topis, and perhaps a leopard or hyena. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by nature. Lake Mburo offers a peaceful and intimate wildlife experience, perfect for unwinding from city life.

Day 2: Game drive and afternoon boat cruise

Start the day with an early morning game drive, a prime time to spot wildlife when animals are most active.
